REDRightHand download and documentation

REDRightHand lets you download your REDCap data and convert it into tidy, normalized tables—with a single button-click.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft Windows
  • Internet connection
  • REDCap API key (see installation guide)
  • Microsoft Access 2016+ (if you’re using UCSF’s Research and Analysis Environment (RAE), this is already installed)

Note: REDRightHand can download PHI (protected health information), if such data is stored in your REDCap project. Be sure to install this software only on a machine that is appropriately secured for any PHI in your REDCap project.
